These programmes enable research insights and innovations to be shared, adapted and applied in different contexts, ensuring the benefits of research extend beyond academia.<\/p>\n<p>These schemes enable partnerships between researchers and industry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/what-we-do\/browse-our-areas-of-investment-and-support\/prosperity-partnerships-business-and-academia-collaborations\/\">Prosperity partnerships<\/a>\u00a0allow business and academic institutions to invest in research<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/iuk-ktp.org.uk\/\">Knowledge Transfer Partnerships<\/a> to enable business and academics to work together<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/what-we-do\/browse-our-areas-of-investment-and-support\/ukri-impact-acceleration-accounts\/\">Impact Acceleration Accounts<\/a> is funding provided to research organisations to use for a range of commercialisation activities, you can apply directly to your research organisation<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/what-we-do\/browse-our-areas-of-investment-and-support\/higher-education-innovation-fund\/\">Higher Education Innovation Funding (HEIF)<\/a> is given to organisations to support knowledge exchange<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Business Engagement Forum<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/what-we-do\/commercialisation\/business-engagement-forum\/\">The Business Engagement Forum<\/a> provides regular opportunities for two-way engagement with key business stakeholders and other non-academic collaborators.
