The programme has a budget of \u20ac95.5 billion and runs until 2027.<\/p>\n<p>UK academics and businesses secured over \u20ac7 billion from Horizon 2020, the EU\u2019s previous funding programme. The UK is the second highest recipient of EU grant funding after Germany.<\/p>\n<h2>Supporting UK researchers and innovators<\/h2>\n<p>UKRO provides research organisations with news, insight and advice to help them engage with EU-funded research.<\/p>\n<p>Find out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukro.ac.uk\/aboutukro\/Pages\/ukro_services.aspx\">how to access UKRO\u2019s services<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>UKRO works closely with partners across government, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/world\/organisations\/uk-mission-to-the-eu\">UK Mission to the EU<\/a>, and colleagues across UKRI to maximise UK engagement in Horizon Europe.<\/p>\n<p>We achieve this by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>acting as a trusted source of advice<\/li>\n<li>promoting the UK\u2019s research and innovation strengths and capabilities<\/li>\n<li>liaising with EU institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>UKRO is part of the wider UK team of National Contact Points (NCPs).
