Interdisciplinary proposals are welcome, but the majority of your research must be within social science<\/li>\n<li>eligibility details for individual opportunities found within the <a href=\"\/opportunity\/\">UKRI funding finder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>eligibility of your research organisation to receive funding for research &#8211; <a href=\"\/publications\/organisation-eligibility\/\">check if your organisation is eligible for funding<\/a><\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"\/publications\/esrc-research-funding-guide\/\">ESRC Research Funding Guide<\/a> which sets out the ESRC funding rules<\/li>\n<li>will your application include project co-leads (international)?<\/li>\n<li>will your application include project co-leads from UK business, third sector or government bodies?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"ukri-callout-box\">\n<p>If you are interested in postgraduate funding, please refer to the <a href=\"\/councils\/esrc\/career-and-skills-development\/\">ESRC guidance on studentships<\/a>. The ESRC does not directly provide funds for postgraduate students. If you wish to apply for postgraduate funding, you should apply directly to a Doctoral Training Partnership.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Remit query form<\/h2>\n<p>If you are unsure whether your proposed research falls within the remit of ESRC, please <a href=\"https:\/\/engagementhub.ukri.org\/esrc-remit\/4b0ba1d6\/\">complete the remit query form on Citizen Space<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You do not need to provide detailed background information, references or costs relating to your research within the form.
