{"id":72861,"date":"2022-05-10T10:50:30","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T09:50:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beta-ukri.msappproxy.net\/?page_id=72861"},"modified":"2025-11-25T10:51:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T10:51:04","slug":"our-strategy-2022-to-2027","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ukri.org\/who-we-are\/our-vision-and-strategy\/our-strategy-2022-to-2027\/","title":{"rendered":"Our strategy 2022 to 2027"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UK Research and Innovation\u2019s (UKRI) first five-year\u00a0<a href=\"\/publications\/ukri-strategy-2022-to-2027\/\">strategy, transforming tomorrow together<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This sets out long-term, high-level priorities for how we will deliver our vision for an outstanding research and innovation system in the UK that provides everyone with the opportunity to contribute and to benefit, enriching lives locally, nationally and globally.<\/p>\n<p>It also highlights UKRI\u2019s key role in delivering the government\u2019s ambitions for the UK as a global leader in research and innovation, and priorities set out in the:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>plan for growth<\/li>\n<li>research and development (R&amp;D) roadmap<\/li>\n<li>innovation strategy<\/li>\n<li>the R&amp;D people and culture strategy<\/li>\n<li>integrated review<\/li>\n<li>levelling up white paper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>UKRI\u2019s strategy is underpinned by four principles for change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>diversity<\/li>\n<li>connectivity<\/li>\n<li>resilience<\/li>\n<li>engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These principles are fundamental to how we work as an organisation and will help to create the conditions for the UK\u2019s research and innovation system to flourish.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the strategy outlines six objectives for how UKRI will deliver on its ambitions.
